Learn to Scuba Dive with DIVE CALIFORNIA. We believe a good DIVER is always learning. One aspect of our mission at DIVE CALIFORNIA is to make good divers better.
We are San Diego's friendliest and safest Scuba Diving Facility, offering all Levels of instruction for individuals and families, with a great variety of Courses and Workshops starting every month of the year. We have regularly scheduled courses in most categories, but for our schedule-challenged clients we also offer flex-scheduling and private courses.
Just about everyone can become a certified Scuba Diver. Scuba Diving is an equal opportunity sport open to men, women and children of any race, religion, sex, national origin or physical dissabilities. However, there are a few limitations on age and health for safety purposes. Anyone 15 years or older can become an Open Water Diver. Children between the age of 10 and 15 can receive the Junior Open Water Diver certification. At the age of 15 they can upgrade to a regular Open Water Diver certification.
To provide more personalized instruction we limit class size to a maximum of six (6) students.
