RENTALS & AIR FILLS
At Dive California we provide our customers with only new, state of the art diving equipment for rent in San Diego! Our diving rental equipment remains in the rental fleet for no more than one year, after which we service and resell the equipment in our bargain area. We have a full line of wetsuits in Men's and Women's sizes, as well as weight integrated buoyancy compensators & regulators, steel tanks, and any other accessories you may want to maximize your dive enjoyment.

Diving Gear Rental Requirements and Responsibilities
⇒ Valid I.D. (Drivers License or Passport)
⇒ Scuba Diving Certification Card for EACH Package of Scuba Diving Gear.
⇒ Safety Deposit (Credit Card or Cash Deposit), ask in Store for Details.
⇒ Rental Fee to be paid by time of Pick up.
⇒ All prices are subject for a minimum 24 hour rental period.
⇒ We do not issue credit or refund for unused Rental Gear.
⇒ Check Rental Gear and Tank Pressure before leaving the Store.
Renter will take full Responsibility for any loss or damage of Rental Gear and will be charged replacement or repair cost.
All Rental gear has to be rinsed prior to returning to the Store, a cleaning fee of $25.00 will be applied if returned dirty to Store.
Dive Tank Air Fills
At Dive California we try to keep things simple - our standard charge for filling your SCUBA cylinder is $6.00, regardless of volume or construction. For first time customers we need to see a copy of the Diver Certification card for the person requesting the fill. If you're a frequent diver you may want to consider getting a 10 fill air card for $50.00 which entitles you to ten (10) fills, a $10.00 savings!
We also fill Nitrox and Trimix! Fills of 36% or less ar $15 per tank or $10 per tank when you purchase a Nitrox fill card for $100. Fills over 36% are $20 and require an Oxygen Clean cylinder. Trimix fills are charged based on the amount of gas used in the mix.
We do perform a visual survey of all cylinders prior to filling. Only cylinders with current Visual Inspection sticker (within the past twelve (12) months) and hydrostatic test (within the past sixty (60) months) will be filled. NO EXCEPTIONS

Air Fill Restrictions
Please note that we're only filling air cylinders for SCUBA & PAINTBALL at this time. Also note that we follow the current PSI, DOT and OSHA requirements.
